How to import contacts

In this section, you will find insights on how to import contacts into your ActiveCampaign account.

If you have a database of contacts in an Excel file or any other software, you can easily import them into ActiveCampaign to start sending emails.

⚠️ Keep in mind that you'll need a CSV file separated by commas.

• The more information you have, the more you can personalize your emails.

• If you have a clear plan for your next steps, create automations in advance to make the most of them.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Once your CSV file is ready, go to Contacts and click on “Import Contacts”

2. Upload your file.

3. Select the information you want to save in ActiveCampaign (watch the video for detailed instructions).

4. Click on Import.

5. Check the status of your import.
