In this section, you will find insights on how to create a list in ActiveCampaign.

Before adding your subscribers to your ActiveCampaign account, you must have a list to which you can add them. Therefore, the first thing you will do in your account is create a list.

Lists are the containers where you will store your contacts within your account. Each time a new user signs up for your ActiveCampaign account, they are registering for a specific list.

🚨 Recommendations:

  • Keep the number of lists to a minimum.

  • Organize your contacts using tags and segments, instead of lists.

  • Always provide your contacts with the option to unsubscribe at any time.
