# FirstPromoter Profile Setup

### Accessing Your Profile Settings

To begin editing your profile:

1. [Log in](https://partners.wildmail.io/login) to your FirstPromoter account.
2. Click on your **account name** in the **top-right corner** of the screen.
3. Select **“Profile Settings”** from the dropdown menu.

### Fill in Your Address and Country

Make sure to complete the **Address** and **Country** fields in your profile. This information is **required** to generate your **commission invoices** correctly.

### Tax Information (Company Number)

Depending on your location, you'll need to enter your tax ID in the **"Company Number"** field:

#### 🇪🇸 Spanish Customers

* If you're a **freelancer (self-employed)** or **do not have an international VAT number**, please enter your **NIF/CIF** or **DNI**.
* **Format:** 00000000-W

#### 🌐 Other Customers

* If you **don’t have an international VAT number**, you can enter your **local tax number** instead.
* **VAT ID Format:** WW123456789

### How to complete the W-8 and W-9 forms? Is it mandatory?

Before receiving your first commissions on FirstPromoter, you’ll need to complete the W-8 or W-9 forms, depending on your fiscal situation and residence.

### How to Select Your Payout Method

You’ll be **only** able to choose your payout method **after your first commissions become available**.

Here’s how it works:

1. Once your first commissions are ready, you’ll receive a **notification**.
2. You can then log into your account and select the **payout method** you prefer (e.g., PayPal, bank transfer).

### Complete Your Profile

While only some fields are required to receive your commissions, we highly recommend completing **all profile fields**. This helps us get to know our partners better and may increase your chances of being selected for **future partner campaigns**! Here’s what you should consider filling out:

* **Profile Picture** – Make your profile more personal and recognizable.
* **Company Name** – Helpful for identifying your brand.
* **Website** – Showcase your business or content platform.
* **Social Media Links** – Let us see where you’re active.
* **Phone Number** – Optional, but can be useful for certain campaigns or account-related questions.
