Personalization tags are automatically generated for every contact or custom field created and are used to insert dynamic content into various communications, such as emails and SMS messages. \

When a personalization tag is included in a campaign or automation email, the corresponding value replaces the tag upon sending, so the contact sees the specific content rather than the tag itself.
